I wanted a simple floating bridge for a travel guitar.

Using circular arcs in the design, I was able to make 8 at one time.

It took me while to figure out how to do this.

This is how I made my first flattop steel string bridge.

It starts with making a template.

You can make the neck with a single piece of 3" x 3/4" thick neck blank.

I use a jig that I saw on Kathy Matsushita's Website to cut the scarf.
